Terms & Conditions
1. Payment
a) Full payment must be made prior to course start in order to finalize registration. Participants who have not made a full payment are not guaranteed a spot in the course.
b) Instalment payments are possible (monthly or every 8 weeks). All instalments must be paid in advance. Repeated late or missed payments will result in the full remaining balance becoming immediately due. In the event of non-payment, collection fees may apply.
c) Invoices can be issued to companies or individual students upon request. Unless otherwise noted, all prices are gross (no additional taxes apply).
2. Cancellations & Refunds
a) Cancellations must be made in written form. Participants who cancel in writing at least 7 business days prior to their first lesson will receive a refund minus 9% (registration fee) or may transfer to another course free of charge.
b) Cancellations made 1–5 business days before the first lesson will not be refunded.
c) Missed group sessions cannot be refunded. One-to-one sessions may be rescheduled up until 2pm on the workday prior to the lesson. Sessions on Mondays must be rescheduled by 2pm on the previous Friday. Late cancellations will not be refunded.
d) GENAU GENAU reserves the right to reschedule, postpone, or cancel courses. In this case, participants may either join a new course or request a refund of unused units.
3. General Conditions
a) One class unit = 45 minutes. 90 minutes = 2 units. 2 units = 1 Session.
b) GENAU GENAU reserves the right to change course days/times or trainers. If a participant cannot attend under new conditions, a refund for remaining units may be requested within 48 hours.
c) Students must be at least 18 years of age. Bringing pets, infants, or guests is only allowed with written permission.
d) Photography of teaching materials (e.g. whiteboard) is permitted; recording other participants is not allowed.
e) Certificates of participation are issued if at least 75% of lessons were attended.
4. Student Responsibilities
Punctual and regular attendance, homework, and active participation are essential for learning success.
5. Liability
a) GENAU GENAU is only liable for intent and gross negligence. No liability is assumed for force majeure events (e.g. natural disasters, strikes, etc.).
b) Students are responsible for damages they cause.
c) GENAU GENAU does not assume liability for personal belongings.
6. Contract Validity
a) Severability Clause: If one part of this agreement is invalid, the rest remains unaffected.
b) These Terms apply to all future contracts with GENAU GENAU.
c) This agreement is governed by German law, with Berlin as the place of jurisdiction.
